Author, educator and photographer, Sharon McKeeman, joins us on the show. She describes how early in her adult life, art and faith were viewed as completely separate. Only after beginning to share her story of the painful loss of a full term stillbirth son did she use writing to merge her art and faith. By telling her story, it created a space for others to share in the same grief and realize they were not alone. Through two more pregnancy losses, Sharon learned her anger, doubt and despairing was actually awakening her heart to be more real with God and she saw He was still there as her sure hope and joy in the midst of it all. In addition to telling her story, she is also an art educator with online courses on using photography to find the unexpected art in daily life.
